New Bedford Folk Festival brings together over 70 renowned and emerging performers and up to 90 juried arts and crafts vendors in New Bedford’s authentic historic district during the first weekend in July.
The two day family-oriented festival offers continuous folk music from 11 AM to 9 PM on seven sound stages in and around the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park ranging from the majestic 1200 seat Zeiterion Performing Arts Center to the intimacy of the National Park Garden Stage.

Legendary singer-songwriter David Crosby returns to The Z for a rare solo acoustic performance. Experience Crosby’s silvery, resilient singing and resonant guitar as he performs songs that span his entire career - including cuts from his 2014 solo album “Croz,” and his 1971 solo debut “If I Could Only Remember My Name,” as well as selections from The Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
